Our very large, end-of-season, yellow Daylily.

From Don Stevens of Reading, Massachusetts, who Registered it in 1983 as follows:

" 28 in. height. Very Late. 6 in. flower.
Deep yellow self. Dormant foliage. Tetraploid. "

Growing here since 1994, it is normally a foot or so taller. (About descriptions).
Broad petals are crimp-edged and somewhat ruffled. Gets a lot
of attention here in the early fall for its size and
vivid color. The 1993 recipient of the
Eugene S. Foster Award.
