The most widely grown fragrant Daylily.

From Franklin Mead in Indiana, who Registered it in 1924 as follows:

" 40 in. height. Midseason. Dormant, Diploid, Fragrant,
GYL1: Green yellow light self. (Sir Michael Foster X Florham). "

A very popular heirloom with large, pale lemon-yellow blooms on tall scapes.
One of the best known of all Daylily hybrids, though largely improved
by Star Dream (1955). Compare also with Last Quarter (1973).
