The most popular bicolored Daylily.

Hybridized by Wilmer B. Flory of Logansport, Indiana, in the early 1950s; registered by
him in 1955 (as follows); and, introduced for sale in the Edenwald garden catalog of 1957.

" 24 in. height. Late Midseason. Dormant, Diploid, Bright rust and
orange bicolor, creamy orange midrib on petals. (Baggette X Cornell). "

Cinnamon petals have a striking apricot midrib and a paprika halo. Sepals clear apricot. With up to 50 buds, very long blooming. Frequently one of our Top Ten Daylilies and
a widely grown heirloom today. For us, a little taller (see About descriptions).
Commemorates the highly regarded 17th Century Dutch painter
whose palette often included these colors.
