Eenie Joy

14-18 inch height         3¾ - inch flower

An extremely low Daylily.

From Loleta K. Powell in North Carolina, who Registered it in 1985 as follows:

" 10 in. height. Early Midseason, Rebloom. 3½ in. flower. Dormant,
Diploid, Fragrant, Yellow self. (Eenie Weenie X Little Eyed Gem) "

For us, taller and blooming earlier (About descriptions). Often planted as a Ground Cover. Clear, bright, lemon yellow flowers. Crimped and ruffled petals sometimes with a bit
of a twist. Foliage is strongly arched into a neat 12-14 inch mound, making
this an excellent edging plant also. Spaced about a foot apart,
Eenie Joy (Eenie Weenie) is a fine ground cover among other
taller plants, whether Daylilies, other perennials
or flowering shrubs.

(Often photographed, illustrated, grown and sold under the name Eenie Weenie).
