Award of Merit
Given annually to a dozen cultivars (varieties) that
are not only distinctive and beautiful but have proven themselves good
performers over a wide geographic area.
Stout Silver Medal Given annually to one cultivar for distinction, beauty, and performance over a wide geographic area. This is the Society's highest honor. Donn Fischer Memorial Award Given annually for the most outstanding miniature cultivar. Annie T. Giles Award Given annually for the most outstanding small-flowered cultivar. Lenington All-American Award Given annually for a cultivar that performs outstandingly in the different regions of the country. Must have been registered for at least ten years. Ida Munson Award Given annually for the best double-flowered cultivar that has bloomed consistently double. R. W. Munson Award Given annually for the best patterned cultivar. L. Ernest Plouf Award Given annually for the best consistently fragrant dormant cultivar. Don C. Stevens Award Given annually for the best boldly eyed or banded cultivar. Harris Olson Spider Award Given annually for the best spider or spider-variant that has been registered for a minimum of five calendar years. Eugene S. Foster Award Given annually for the best late-blooming, or very-late-blooming cultivar, based on initial scape blooms. |
